About Workplace Advocacy Services

My name is Anthony Souvatzoglou and I founded Workplace Advocacy because I have a passion for helping people and organisations.

My passion began in 2016 when I was working full time in government roles. When I saw how managers were treating staff, but also how staff were not working well with managers, my interest was piqued. I wondered how I could make a difference in these workplace dynamics.

In 2017, my first experience in workplace advocacy was becoming a National Union Delegate for Public Service Association (PSA). In this voluntary role, I learned how to deal with managers and staff who were unable to communicate effectively. I was the go-between person to communicate—a mediator to help them resolve their issues.

After representing a work colleague through a difficult workplace dispute, I realised I could start my own workplace advocacy business. The rest is history.

At Workplace Advocacy Services, you are not just a client; you are valued. I believe everybody should be treated fairly in the workplace and have access to representation.
